EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and anxiety. It works to decrease distress and suffering after traumatic events and difficult life experiences. EMDR is different than traditional "talk therapy," as it incorporates eye movement or other body movement to allow the brain and body to rapidly process through traumatic memories. EMDR draws on your innate healing capacity and allows you to resolve trauma without having to 'tell the story' of the experience.

I offer adjunct EMDR, which allows you to continue meeting with your regular therapist while also working together with me for this specialized treatment for trauma and anxiety.
