About your facilitator: I'm Fievel Steller (LICSW), a clinical supervisor and therapist with 10+ years of postgraduate work in the mental health field, including serving as a practicum field instructor and providing on campus counseling to graduate students. As a queer and trans social work graduate, I understand that the field of mental health has at times been harmful for our communities and that the institutions of academia and practice settings are not designed for us. My experience is also informed by my intersecting identities, some of which including being white, a US citizen and an immigrant, straight-size, allistic, living with low-key chronic illness and pain, and coming from a rural lower middle class background. I look forward to co-creating a group space together that centers liberatory queerness as clinicians.
