I have more than ten years of experience providing therapy to queer, trans, and non-binary individuals, folks who are polyamorous and non-monogamous, and people who are part of BDSM/Kink communities. I am recognized in King County, Washington as a Sexual Minority Mental Health Specialist and offer consultation to therapists and other providers.
I also provide consultation to therapists who are considering living abroad while continuing their practice.
I offer consultation on a $100-$250/hour scale.
Consider paying more if you:
Work in a private practice setting and can set your own hourly rate
Have access to savings and other resources in time of need
Have a relatively high 'earning power' due to level of education and years in the field
Consider paying less if you:
Work in community mental health, nonprofit, or community organizing settings
Are limited in your 'earning power' by discrimination and/or disability
Are descended from people who were enslaved, forcibly displaced, targeted for genocide, and/or are Indigenous
If you have a good working relationship with your client, but find that they are “stuck” with symptoms of trauma or anxiety, they may benefit from adjunct EMDR therapy. This option allows you to continue working with your client in the ways that have already been effective while your client receives specialized focus on resolving “stuck” points via EMDR. I offer responsive care coordination and am happy to provide more information about what you and your client can expect with EMDR.
I have several years of experience providing short term counseling services, and I enjoy providing coverage for therapists who are taking a period of leave from their practice. Depending on my availability, I may be able to offer short term counseling on a weekly, biweekly, or "as needed" basis for clients while you are on leave.
I have experience developing and facilitating workshops on many topics associated with mental health, identity, equity and diversity, and wellness, as well as facilitating caucuses/affinity spaces for white folks doing anti-racist work. I am happy to collaborate with you to create the transformative learning and skill-building experience your group is looking for.
My hourly rate is $200 for workshops and presentations. For students, non-profits, or community organizations serving QT/BIPOC folks the rate may be negotiable.
